A Virtual Tour of an Ancient Syrian Synagogue

Archaeologist and anthropologist Adam Blitz will take us on a virtual tour of the 4th century C.E. Synagogue of Apamea, Syria. Using extraordinary digital technology, Adam has pieced together the disparate parts and will showcase the stunning mosaics while regaling us with the history of the synagogue and its’ discovery.

Adam Blitz is a near eastern studies and Judaic studies scholar and Fulbright recipient. A fellow of the Royal Anthropological and The Ronin Institutes, he resides in London. He is a frequent contributor to: The Times of Israel, The Jerusalem Post, Haaretz, Catholic Herald, Aeon Magazine, Times of India, Anthropology Today, 9 Muses News, and many others.
