Chalutzim
Chalutzim is the program for our youngest members of the youth department, those children in grades 4 and 5. During our time together, Chalutzim does many fun activities, including arts and crafts, holiday programs, social time outside of the classroom, field trips, sleepovers, games that help learn about Judaism, and basic leadership skills. Chalutzim meets monthly on Sunday afternoons following religious school (12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m.) We meet either at the youth house on the grounds of the synagogue or off site at various fun locations. Chalutzim is the place to be!
There are many ways for your family to become involved with our Youth Department. If you are a parent looking for a volunteer opportunity, consider joining the Temple Beth Sholom Youth Commission. Contact the youth office at (941) 552-2783 to discuss opportunities for your participation.
