Judaica Museum

MuseumEvery place, every thing is an opportunity to instruct and learn. Temple Beth Sholom has a very impressive Judaic Museum that reflects the diversity and eclectic culture of Jewish life. The Judaica Museum of Temple Beth Sholom is sponsored by the Men’s Club and is an interesting and beautiful place to visit. We have been privileged to see many unusual items of the Jewish life cycle. The exhibits have been extraordinary and thought provoking. We have had exhibits for the holidays, such as, Passover, Hanukkah, and the High Holidays. We have also had exhibits of the Holocaust in which our own members told of their lives during that time period.

MuseumThe primary mission of the Museum is to serve as an educational resource about Jewish arts, culture and lifestyle through its permanent and rotating exhibits. Many of the items displayed are lent to us by members of the Temple Beth Sholom family. We have had various programs and displays such as "The Jewish Life and Culture in Norway, The Wergeland's Story," and "The lost Wooden Synagogues of Eastern Europe." We hope you will stop by and take a look at the current exhibit!
